Bio
Robert C. Goodwill Jr. is a trial lawyer at The West Law Firm. Robert handles civil litigation ranging from personal injury and death cases to commercial disputes.
Robert grew up in the rural city of Ruston, Louisiana. He received his undergraduate degree and Master of Accountancy from Baylor University in Waco, Texas.
After graduating, he attended law school at the University of Houston Law Center in Houston, Texas. Robert was an acclaimed member of UHLC’s Interscholastic Mock Trial Team and served as the Executive Editor of the Houston Business and Tax Law Journal. As a member of the Journal, Robert published a Comment, which was awarded the Chamberlain Hrdlicka Writing Award for Distinguished Paper in Taxation. While on UHLC’s Interscholastic Mock Trial Team, Robert paired up with his future colleague of The West Law Firm, Maddison M. West, and the two traveled to various parts of the country competing in many mock trial competitions.
Prior to joining The West Law Firm, Robert gained valuable trial experience working for a large personal injury firm in Houston where he handled cases from intake to verdict.
